Job description We are seeking a Full Time Construction Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Full-time construction project manager, capable of oversight on a few projects in various phases of construction. The candidate should be able to assist in the budgeting phase and should take control of project oversight as it moves into construction. This person would report to a senior project manager, who would be providing general oversight on all projects in construction. Additionally, this junior PM should be able to provide feedback to design staff and help execute the design intent throughout the project. Responsibilities: ■ Oversee all aspects of a construction project from planning to implementation ■ Allocate resources for assigned projects ■ Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors ■ Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients ■ Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs ■ Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications ■ General construction oversight: assisting in making sure that timeline, budget, energy goals, and design intent are carried out on site. ■ Assist in project budgeting, from preliminary conceptual budgets through final pre-construction budgets. Should be familiar with spreadsheet software. ■ Perform material take-offs for pricing and acquisition, with support from junior design staff as needed. ■ Subcontractor outreach and bid management. ■ Receipt and Purchase Order management. ■ Receive and process submittals from subcontractors and suppliers. ■ Assist in payment requisitions. Our drawings are a good guide, but with a great deal of added design intent revised on site. This candidate should be able to predict the critical design points and get the required feedback from design staff in order to carry out the intentions of design. Qualifications:
