It began as a corner shop and expanded to become a giant international food group with more than 900 branches, covering 31 provinces in China, and many other places in the United States, Canada, Dubai, Singapore, Australia, Macau etc. In 2014, Liuyishou chose the greater Vancouver area for our North America Head Office. In order to healthily expand and develop our North America market. Now we are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager. This is permanent full-time position. Founded in 2000, Chongqing Liu Yishou Catering Management Company is a well-known enterprise specializing in hot pot chain franchise business management. It started from a roadside hot pot restaurant and expanded to become a huge international food group with more than 900 branches covering 31 provinces in China, the United States, Canada, Dubai, Singapore, Australia, Macau and other places. In 2014, in order to quickly expand the North American market, Liu Yishou chose Vancouver as its North American headquarters. We are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager position (Full Time). Restaurant General Manager Job Duties: Execute the restaurant operations plan. Includes needs research, maintaining relationships with community; identifying and evaluating competitors; preparing financial, marketing and sales forecasts, analyzes and estimates. Meeting restaurant industry financial goals. Includes financing management, establishing bank relationships; developing strategy and annual forecasts and budgets; analyzing variances; leading optimization improvements; establishing and monitoring financial controls; developing and executing strategies to increase average spend. Attract customers by developing marketing, advertising, public and community relations plans; evaluate program effectiveness; identify and track changes in demand. Control purchasing and inventory. Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers, develop preferred supplier lists, review and evaluate usage reports, analyze variances, and take corrective actions. Restaurant operations and management. Develop policies and standardized procedures; implement them, control quality and service standards, and continuously improve. Monitor and improve customer satisfaction. Continuously evaluate menu items, beverages and service, and lead initiatives to improve and prioritize customer relations. Achieve people management objectives. Including recruitment, selection, training, assignment, teaching and discipline management, etc., and communicating work expectations with employees; planning, monitoring, and evaluating work performance; planning and reviewing benefit plans, and complying with relevant regulations and procedures. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Establish and enforce sanitation standards and procedures and comply with health regulations; maintain safety systems. Maintain restaurant professionalism and knowledge. Track emerging trends in the catering industry and attend industry seminars; review professional publications; build a network; learn advanced technologies in the market; participate in industry organizations. Achieve company goals. Take ownership to complete new and different requests and achieve company goals; explore opportunities and new profit points. Restaurant General Manager Skills and Qualifications: More than 5 years of restaurant management experience, including at least two years of experience in a Chinese restaurant. Experience in hot pot or Sichuan cuisine is preferred. Able to communicate effectively in Chinese (Mandarin) and English. Have analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, problem-solving abilities, and strong execution ability. Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate talent, evaluate and develop employees.
