Recruiting translators

Position Type: Full Time (English-Chinese) The owner is looking for an experienced translator with proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) to support our client base. As a translator, you will be responsible for translating various types of documents across a variety of industry sectors, including but not limited to legal, medical, business, and technology. Responsible for translating English documents into Chinese (Mandarin), and Chinese (Mandarin) into English. Provides interpretation services, including simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, in meetings, telephone or video conferencing. Proofread and edit translation documents to ensure content is accurate. Maintain communication with clients to ensure translation needs are met and high-quality translation documents are delivered on time. Assist the team in coordinating translation projects and ensuring project progress. Degree or certificate in translation or related field (e.g. Translation Studies, Linguistics, Literature, etc.). At least 2 years of translation work experience, especially in the legal, medical or technical fields, is preferred. Fluent in English or Chinese (Mandarin), with excellent oral and written expression skills. Familiar with common translation tools and software (such as Trados, MemoQ, Wordfast, etc.). Good time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Have a high sense of responsibility and meticulous work attitude.
