[Free] 40-hour safety training (SST) for New York City construction site employees! [Construction; Training]

*According to New York City local laws, starting from March 2021, construction workers who have not obtained an SST card are not allowed to enter designated construction sites for construction. Building license holders who employ untrained construction workers will be warned of violations and subject to fines. In order to legally enter New York City's large construction sites, come and participate in New York City Construction Site Employee Safety Training (SST)! Totally free! ! Open to all New York City residents, no ID required! The project will close at the end of June, so register now! The Asian American Federation is actively recommending qualified Chinese candidates to Workforce 1, a training institution directly affiliated with the New York City Department of Small Business (NYC SBS), to participate in the free Construction Site Employee Safety (SST) training provided by the New York City Government. The training language is Mandarin, Cantonese or English. Permanent residents of New York City or currently living in New York. Free training cooperation project period: October 2021 to June 2022. Those who do not hold OSHA-30 cards need to receive 40 hours of safety training; holders of valid OSHA-30 cards only need to receive 10 hours of training. After completing the training, a construction site safety (SST) card will be issued. The card is valid for 5 years. Working legally as a general worker, demolition worker, electrician, bricklayer, security guard, steelworker, roofer, truck driver, concrete and masonry worker, architect or designer on construction sites in New York City and other construction trades and related positions helps you advance in the New York City construction industry.
