Kung Fu Tea, Fort Lee Baristas and Cashier

We’re NOW HIRING! Kung Fu Tea- Fort Lee is looking for baristas/ bar prep and cashier for the Fort Lee, NJ store located inside of the Washington Bridge Plaza. Both full time and part time staffs are needed. Qualified candidates should be able to work during weekday evenings and weekends. Job Description and Duties: The prospective baristas will be performing several job duties including introducing products to customers, making tea, coffee and other drinks on the menu according to customers’ specifications, basic cleaning and maintenances of the working station. Training will be provided . The prospective cashier will be in charge of the products promotion, order taking, cash in-take, credit card sales, as well as the security of the POS system and customer flow control. Preferred Qualifications: Baristas: 1 more year experience as a barista. Must be able to efficiently operate espresso bar equipment. Must be able to produce each order accurately. Cashier : 1 more year experience handling cash and operating as a cash register. 1 more year experience providing excellent one on one customer service. Strong marketing and customer service skills. Detailed Position Responsibilities: Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages. Clean or sanitize working and service areas, utensils or equipment. Check temperature of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning. Order, receive, stock supplies/inventory or retail products. Operate cash register. Serve pastries. Restock customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items. Prepare or serve other menu items as needed. Follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents.
