Hotel Recommendations for Chinese in Las Vegas

As a long-time resident in Las Vegas, I want to share some of my favorite hotel recommendations that are particularly suitable for our Chinese friends.

1. Hotels on the Las Vegas Strip

  • **Caesars Palace**: This place is a classic! Room prices range from about $150 to $300 a night, depending on the season. The hotel’s casino, restaurants, and shopping options are super convenient. Their Chinese restaurant, Din Tai Fung, is a must-try for food lovers!
  • **Wynn Las Vegas**: This is one of my favorite upscale hotels, with room rates between $200 and $400 a night. The ambiance here is elegant, perfect for relaxation. Plus, the Wynn has a Chinese restaurant called “Red Dragon,” known for its authentic flavors.

  • 2. Accommodations Near Chinatown

There are plenty of great options around Spring Mountain Rd, which is close to Chinatown.

  • **The Oriental**: An economical choice, with rooms typically ranging from $80 to $120 a night. The hotel is surrounded by many Chinese restaurants, like Great Wall and Old Beijing Noodles, making it super convenient for meals.
  • **Hilton Las Vegas**: Priced around $120 to $200, it’s very close to shopping centers and restaurants, making it ideal for family trips.

  • 3. Budget-Friendly Options

If you’re on a tight budget, I recommend these places:

  • **Holiday Inn**: Usually priced between $70 and $100, it's great for simple accommodation needs and not far from the Las Vegas Strip.
  • **Motel 6**: This is a super economical choice, with prices usually between $50 and $80. The facilities are basic but clean, perfect for short trips.

  • 4. Practical Tips

  • **Book Early**: Especially during holidays, prices can skyrocket, and booking early can save you a lot.
  • **Transportation Options**: Las Vegas has a pretty good bus system, and Route 66 goes by many of the spots Chinese people frequent.
  • **Use PandaListing (熊猫榜)**: This platform has a lot of information in Chinese about Las Vegas, which can help you find suitable accommodations and travel tips.

  • I hope these suggestions help you out! Have a fantastic time in Las Vegas!
