A Chinese-owned auto parts company in Houston is recruiting a global supply chain manager [Supply Chain Manager]

1. Develop merchandise and supplier strategies independently or through team leadership. Ensure alignment with China headquarters and gain senior management consensus. 2. Lead purchasing efforts to identify centralized purchasing opportunities, reduce costs, improve supplier performance and improve operational efficiency. 3. Develop the most suitable supply base for the company in terms of supplier technical capabilities, quality stability, price competitiveness, production capacity and overall business adaptability. 4. Lead bidding, analyze bids and negotiate with suppliers. Manage total landed costs. 5. Responsible for the conception, review, approval and execution of ongoing cost reduction projects, utilizing project management tools and techniques and collaborating with internal and external parties as needed. 6. Monitor commodity market trends against supplier pricing and apply relevant knowledge to achieve the lowest cost for the company. 7. Align with global requirements and processes to develop and execute the most appropriate processes for global and North American strategic sourcing functions. Maintain data integrity in electronic systems. 8. Manage and improve the overall performance of global and North American base suppliers to better support the company group's global procurement activities. 1. Bachelor degree or above in engineering, mechanical major or material science 2. Professional requirements must have technical knowledge related to machinery and/or metal or non-metal materials and/or the performance and manufacturing process of electronic and electrical goods | 3.5-8 years of strategic procurement experience in multinational companies, experience in automotive thermal management systems/products and team management experience is preferred 4. Strong leadership skills, able to withstand work pressure, good communication skills and presentation skills 6. Possess the analytical ability to conduct highly complex procurement, competition and scheduling analysis, and be able to apply artificial intelligence tools.
