Accounting and Administrative Assistant

The Accounting and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting with key aspects of day-to-day accounting, human resources and office management. This position will interact with all employees and managers to help the hotel achieve its goals. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager. Salary: $45k-$55k BOE 4-year college accounting or finance major preferred Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Highly developed interpersonal skills and able to connect with people easily and quickly Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately Must be highly organized and efficient with strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be highly motivated, goal-driven, and self-starter Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet required deadlines Industry experience preferred (Hotel/Resort) Support the Accounting Manager with monthly financial needs and reporting Vendor invoice processing and accounts payable, and assist/oversee accounts receivable and monthly billing/collections Assist with maintenance of office equipment including copiers, fax machines, etc. Participate in annual audits where applicable Assist in the preparation of monthly client presentations Participate in special club projects/events as needed and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Assist with all department management needs.
