Living in Chicago, bubble tea has become a part of my daily routine. As a Chinese American, I can’t resist a good cup of boba tea. Whether it’s a busy weekday or a relaxing weekend, finding a great bubble tea shop always lifts my spirits. Here are some of my favorite spots to grab bubble tea in the Windy City.

2. Tea Princess
Located near Japan Town, Tea Princess is a go-to hangout for me and my friends. The decor is super cute and perfect for Instagram shots.
3. The Alley
The Alley is recommended by many in the Chicago Chinese community and is located in the West Loop neighborhood.
4. Sweet Tea
If you’re in the university area, Sweet Tea is a great place to stop by. Their teas are fresh and smooth.
5. Heytea
Heytea has a location in Lincoln Park and attracts a younger crowd.
